David Moross

Board Chairman 

Mr. David Moross is currently the Chairman & CEO of Falconhead Capital which he founded in 1998. Mr. Moross has enjoyed a long history as a leader in the consumer, leisure and sports investment world having been an investor and partner for many years with IMG, the world’s premier sports marketing and management company. Together they founded the first private equity sports investment fund, Sports Capital Partners, which was re-branded Falconhead Capital in 2001. Since 1998, Mr. Moross has raised and invested over $500 million of capital for Falconhead and has been actively involved in acquiring and building many leading growth companies such as ESPN Classic, Europe; Maritime Telecommunications Network, National Power Sport Auctions; ESCORT; Not Your Daughter’s Jeans (NYDJ); Competitor Group and GPSi.

M.G. Orender

Mr. M.G. Orender has held several positions in PGA America and served as President in 2003 and as Honorary President until 2006, after working as Vice President and Secretary. Mr. Orender is a golf instructor and developer of business courses for golf professionals. Previously, he founded Granite Golf, a facilities management company involved in nearly 30 golf facilities in 11 states-all in various stages of construction and completion and served as its President. In addition to managing his ownership of 20 golf properties, Mr. Orender serves as Director of PGA Golf Professional Hall of Fame.

Charley Moore

Mr. Charley Moore is a well-known golf and sport industry veteran. After a successful ten-year career with IMG and TWI Interactive, in 1999, Charley Moore founded The Moore Group, LLC which provided representation for high profile clients such as ESPN Outdoors, Bombardier Aerospace, Nokia, B.A.S.S, and David Duval. Mr. Moore was also a co-founder of The PGA TOUR Network on XM Satellite Radio and CEO of Pure Golf, a leading provider of golf, tennis, and outdoor programming to the satellite radio industry. Charley joined Falconhead Capital in 2002 where he focuses on outdoor and media related investment strategies.

Dave Marr III

Play-by-Play Host/Tower Reporter, Champions Tour Host, Champions Tour Learning Center

David Marr III serves as play-by-play host and tower reporter for Golf Channel’s Champions Tour coverage. Marr also hosts Champions Tour Learning Center, a weekly, 30-minute show dedicated to game improvement and featuring a variety of Champions Tour players, and reports for Golf Central at Champions Tour events. Marr has hosted numerous shows at the network. Prior to joining the Golf Channel, Marr served as a commentator for WHDH-TV (NBC, Boston) during the 1999 Ryder Cup Matches. A New York City native, Marr is a graduate of Bucknell University, and is the son of 1965 PGA Champion and 1981 Ryder Cup Captain Dave Marr.

Joe Steranka

Mr. Joe Steranka who led the PGA as CEO of an association that serves 27,000 PGA club professionals and runs events that include the PGA Championship, the Ryder Cup, the PGA Grand Slam of Golf and the Senior PGA Championship, has an extensive network in the worlds of both golf and media. Steranka began his PGA tenure in 1988 as Director of Communications. He is widely recognized for commissioning the acclaimed Golf 2.0 / Future of Golf study; negotiating landmark rights fees for TV coverage (CBS, NBC, Turner Sports, ESPN, Golf Channel) of the Ryder Cup, PGA Championship and sister tournaments; helping lead the industry’s winning bid to return golf to the Olympic Games in 2016; and establishing the 1st-ever golf trade shows in China.
