Mr. Porter brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the GPSi CEO position including over 30 years in the golf industry, both as a professional tour player and as a golf course owner and operator. In 1997 Mr. Porter founded Golf Academies Ltd in the UK. The company marketed, distributed and financed a number of golf technology products across Europe, Asia and Africa including GPS systems. Golf Academies became the exclusive European distributor for GPSi in 2004 and was acquired by the company in 2007. Mr. Porter was appointed as President and Chief Operating Officer of GPSi in 2008, leading the company through a reorganization in 2009 and spearheading the consolidation of the entire GPS golf industry though the acquisition of several GPS golf companies, resulting in the company achieving a 90% market share. Chief Technology Officer
Prior to joining GPSI, Mr. Godshall was serving as the CTO for MyUS.com, a web-based international shipping operation. Mr. Godshall began his career in GPS golf course management in 1996, designing and developing the software code for the PinMark GPS system, one of the very 1st GPS systems ever installed on a golf course. PinMark was acquired by ProShot Golf in 1999, and in 2000, Mr. Godshall left ProShot to form the Development Works, and in that capacity led ParView, Inc.’s efforts as its CTO, designing and developing the rst full color display GPS system to be installed on a golf course. In 2004, ParView was acquired by ProLink, and he continued to work for ProLink in the same capacity, designing and developing the successor to the ParView color product in 2006, the ProStar System which is installed and operating today on approximately 500 golf courses worldwide. Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Dunlap comes to GPSI with almost 20 years of operations management experience with P&L responsibility. Mr. Dunlap began his executive career at American Golf Corporation, managing multi-course operations, achieving and exceeding revenue growth and expense management goals each year. After ten years with American Golf, Tim joined the start-up ownership group Sequoia Golf as the C.O.O., working with both operations and acquisitions, helping Sequoia grow from a regional seven-facility operation to a national 55-facility operation. Executive Vice President and General Counsel
Mr. Saslow is an honors graduate of Western Michigan University and earned his J.D. at the University of Michigan Law School. Mr. Saslow began his career as a practicing attorney in the corporate securities department of a national law firm, working on mergers and acquisitions, 1933 Act filings and serving as counsel to federally-licensed SBIC’s. In 1999, Mr. Saslow was hired as general counsel by GPSI predecessor ParView, a development-stage GPS golf company which sold to competitor ProLink in 2004, which was then in turn acquired by GPS Industries in 2009. Kevin A. Carpenter
Senior Vice President of Business Development
Mr. Carpenter is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz, graduating summa cum laude with a double major in Latin American Studies and Global Economics. Mr. Carpenter co-founded ParView in 1994, one of the 1st companies to put GPS units on golf cars, and developed a management team that grew ParView to over 50 employees serving over 100 golf courses worldwide. In 2004, ParView sold to competitor ProLink which was then acquired by GPSI in 2009. In addition to leading the national sales and marketing team, Mr. Carpenter’s key responsibilities include national accounts, Latin America, and acting as the liaison to the GPSI Sales and Marketing partner Club Car. Senior Vice President of Finance
Andy Evans has over 25 years accounting experience in the insurance, education and manufacturing industries. In 2006, he took the position of Controller at publicly traded ProLink Solutions, a legacy GPS Golf company, where he oversaw the accounting department. In 2009, he was promoted to CFO. He managed and produced all of the company’s SEC filings, as well as directed fundraising efforts. In 2009, ProLink was acquired by GPS Industries and Andy accepted the position of VP of Finance in which he manages the accounting department, the financial reporting duties and the GPSI leasing subsidiaries.
